At the first appointment all clients are asked to sign an agreement of confidentiality, an understanding of the cancellation policy along with an agreement for fees charged. Following this you will be asked to share your current concerns, your expectations for working together and your goals for therapy. The first session will be used to evaluate the needs of you, your child and/or your family and to discuss treatment recommendations for moving forward and working together.
Treatment times will vary by individual and can be discussed at the outset of the relationship and evaluated as things progress. Frequency of appointments can be discussed and decided upon by the child and family to meet individual needs and goals.
