Fees vary based on the services provided and are set out below:
Registered Social Worker
$140 per 50 minute individual or family in-office, telephone or video session.
$110 per 50 minute individual or family in-office, telephone or video session.
$200 per 120 minute in-home behavioural support service visit (service includes 90 minutes of in-home service and 30 minutes of travel time for the therapist to and from the office within Barrie - additional charges will apply for travel outside of Barrie).**
**In order to access in-home support all clients must attend an initial consultation in the office to discuss goals for this service. This service may also be available to clients accessing therapy services with another clinician but needing in-home assessment and strategies on a one time basis.
Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted methods of payment include cash, cheque, etransfer and major credit cards. A receipt will be issued when payment is received.
Registered Social Workers and Psychotherapists are often covered under extended health benefits, please check with your insurance provider to inquire about individual coverage. Receipts may also be submitted under personal medical deduction on your income tax.
All cancellations must be made 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you miss an appointment or do not provide 24 hours notice a flat fee of $50 will apply.
At the first appointment all clients are asked to sign an agreement of confidentiality, an understanding of the cancellation policy along with an agreement for fees charged. Following this you will be asked to share your current concerns, your expectations for working together and your goals for therapy. The first session will be used to evaluate the needs of you, your child and/or your family and to discuss treatment recommendations for moving forward and working together.
Treatment times will vary by individual and can be discussed at the outset of the relationship and evaluated as things progress. Frequency of appointments can be discussed and decided upon by the child and family to meet individual needs and goals.
